What you could earn
You earn a percent of each verified visit, after the guest's $10 off and before tax and tip. Lodging businesses earn 9%. All other businesses earn 7%. It comes out of the venue's fee, so your guests pay the same.

What does it cost?
Nothing. Joining, your page and the print kit are free. Tidepass pays your share from its own revenue, so guests pay the same price.
How much do we earn?
Lodging businesses earn 9% and all other businesses earn 7% of each verified visit, after the guest's $10 off and before tax and tip. A $150 visit earns $13.50 at 9% or $10.50 at 7%.
What counts as lodging?
Hotels, motels, inns, bed and breakfasts, vacation rentals and property managers.
I'm already a host. Should I switch?
You don't have to. The host program is quick and personal. The business program adds your logo and colors, tracked campaigns and the print kit, at the same 9% for lodging.
When do we get paid?
Weekly through Stripe, once you have $25 or more available. Earnings become available after the venue's charge for that visit clears.
Do we see who our guests are?
No. You see counts, visits by venue and what you earned. Guests stay anonymous to you.
Do we need to tell guests we earn?
Yes, and it's built in. If you earn, your page and printables say so. Keep it on anything you make yourself too. Partners whose license doesn't allow commissions earn nothing, and their pages say that instead.
Can an employer offer this to staff?
Yes, as a free perk. Employers don't earn on their staff's visits. Keep it voluntary, and never tie it to pay, hours, reviews or performance.
Which businesses can't join?
Cannabis, tobacco and vape, firearms, adult, gambling and sweepstakes, payday lending, debt relief and credit repair, get-rich-quick schemes, pharmacies and supplements, political groups, multi-level marketing, and businesses aimed at minors. Licensed health professionals (including vets and massage therapists), CPAs, public adjusters, public agencies, attorneys, and employers sharing with their own staff can share Tidepass as a perk but don't earn. Real estate, financial and insurance pros can earn if they tell their clients in writing.
Can a venue join too?
Yes. A venue can be a business partner and recommend other spots, but it can't earn on visits to its own listing.
